Job Interview Questions

On this page there is a short list of possible questions. Try to play the game of interview - and answer them laud and clear - as you would do on the interview. While answering you should concentrate on positive only, avoid negativity, project confidence, be relaxed. This comes with practice. Remeber - never tell bad things about your previous boss or company. Always tell that you move on because you want to grow, get more challenge, etc.

Tell a little about yourself.
What are your salary requirements?  Are you aware that top salary for this position is ___ .
Why are you looking for a job?
Why you left (planning to leave) your previous job?
What you liked / didn't like about your previous job?
Why you want this job? Why do you want to work in our company?
What do you know about our company? How did you find us?
What can you do for our company?
Do you know what you will have to do? Why are you sure you can handle this? Do you miss any skills we need?
We have 100s applicants. Why you think we should hire you? What is so good about you?
What is not good about you?  Any weaknesses? How you plan to correct them?
If we will check your references - what negative will your previous manager/coworkers tell about you?
What are your carreer goals? Where do you see yourself in 10-15 years from now?
Describe your ideal working environment.
Do you prefer to be closely supervised or you prever to work less supervised?
Your communication skills? Have you had conflicts? How you handled them?
Can you follow orders? Can you work under pressure? Work long hours if neccessary? Can you work as part of a team?
What you like about job?
What you don't like (or may not like) about the job? What you afraid may be bad or frustrating?
What kind of person are you? Describe your personality.
On a scale of 1 to 10 how do you measure your knowledge of ...
What other skills you have? What other kinds of job position or companies may interest you?

How many people you managed (size of a team)?
What is your management style?
Have you ever hired anyone? How were you selecting people?
Have you ever fired anyone? Why? How you handled this?
Which management responsibilities are easy for you, and which are  not so easy? (dealing with people, planning, budget, deadlines, etc.)
What do your subordinates think about you?
How do you motivate people to do something?

Why you were fired from your last job?
Why you were not promoted on you last job?
Why you were not working for last ... months/years?
If we hire you, and then another company will offer you more money - what will you do?
